Good Morning America is ABC's long-running morning news program. Galavant cast members have made several appearances on GMA to promote the show, though none of these interviews have been especially in-depth, as each of their clips were roughly 3-4 minutes. However, the cast could be seen lurking around the set at other times and Karen David even found an opportunity to perform an excerpt of World's Best Kiss.

January 7, 2015[]

Joshua Sasse (Galavant) appeared in-studio.[1] He discussed how he was unaware the show was a full-blown musical when he was up for the part, as well as a mishap that found him in New York without a change of clothes.

After his appearance on GMA, Sasse went on to appear on The View.[2]

January 23, 2015[]

Mallory Jansen (Madalena) appeared in-studio[3] to discuss all the hard work that went into making the show, as well as the fun she had playing "a complete psycho."

November 19, 2015[]

Mallory Jansen (Madalena) and Karen David (Isabella) were interviewed live from Morocco[4] and teased about their season 2 catfight.

This was not part of the regular TV broadcast, it was done during the "GMA 40 for 40" event, which was a 40 hour live-streaming broadcast to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Good Morning America.[5]

January 8, 2016[]

Timothy Omundson (King Richard) and Karen David (Isabella) gave a brief interview about the show.[6] The duo performed an original rendition of If I Were a Jolly Blacksmith, and David also sang an excerpt of World's Best Kiss.[7]

Following GMA, the Omundson and David went directly to The View for a another interview,[8] and they were scheduled to fly across the country to appear at San Francisco Sketchfest later the same evening, but an airline delay forced them to miss that event.[9]
